She holds large branches of laurel and oak in her left arm, while her right arm is raised towards the horizon. Additionally, she is enveloped in a US Flag, gently blowing in the wind.

The reverse of the Silver Eagle features the well-known design by John Mercanti, which was inspired by the Great Seal of the United States. A large shield rests in front of a majestic eagle with outstretched wings. The words “E Pluribus Unum” are inscribed on a ribbon grasped in the eagle’s beak. The eagle also clutches arrows and an olive branch in its talons.
