2017-W 1 oz Burnished Silver American Eagle NGC MS 70 Early Releases

The latest release from the US Mint this exceptional 2017-W 1 oz Burnished Silver American Eagle NGC MS 70 Early Releases. Silver American Eagles have been produced by US Mint since 1986 and the burnished version of these coins was first minted in 2006.

Struck on blanks that have gone through the burnishing process in which the surface of blanks are polished with an abrasive substance in a spinning drum and a matte-finish is applied. The classic and magnificent design includes the Walking Liberty created by Adolph A. Weinman on the obverse and the heraldic bald eagle on the reverse holding the “E Pluribus Unum” banner in its beak designed by John M. Mercanti. The reverse also bears the “W” mint mark reflecting that it was struck at the West Point Mint, NY.

This burnished coin is made of .999 fine silver and has been graded as MS 70 Early Releases by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), making it a state-of-art gift and great addition to any precious metals portfolio.
