Designed by Miley Busiek, the coin’s reverse features a male bald Eagle flying back to his nested family with an olive branch in his talon. Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the coin’s weight and denomination.

The US Mint offers the bullion issue each year and offers the coin to the public only through its network of recognized distributors.
