The obverse features Liberty in full-length frontal view, her head turned towards the right with her right hand holding a shield and left hand holding an olive branch as she strides through a gate between two walls. Inscriptions - “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “LIBERTY,” year of mintage, and the content, weight, and purity on the left wall.
The reverse displays a majestic bald eagle in flight with the 13 stars, representing the 13 original colonies, surrounding it. Inscriptions - “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “QUARTER DOLLAR,” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
