2015 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin NGC MS 69 1 of 79,640 Struck

This 2015 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin NGC MS 69 is a unique bullion with one of the lowest mintage in the American Eagles history. The Silver American Eagle is one of the most popular coins in American coinage, presenting the highest quality and the patriotic design. This 1 troy ounce silver coin produced by U.S.Mint at Philadelphia facility.

The obverse side features the well-known walking Lady Liberty design. She is seen moving to the rising sun with laurel and oak branches in her hands. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the year of mintage. The reverse side displays a design created by John Mercanti, featuring a heraldic bald eagle with a banner in its beak while holding an olive branch in one talon and a bundle of arrows in the other. Inscriptions include "1 oz", "FINE SILVER", "ONE DOLLAR", "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Above its head, there are 13 stars arranged in a triangular pattern while holding an olive branch.

Traditionally, American Eagles struck only at the West Point Mint, but this coin produced at Philadelphia facility, that was previously unknown. Philadelphia Silver American Eagles were sealed in monster boxes that said “West Point Mint,” making it difficult to identify where those coins were actually produced. When this information came to public, this series became one of the biggest surprises for the numismatic world and the lowest mintage in the 31-year history of the American Eagles. These coins were identified by NGC grading company through their 5 digit serial numbers on the box that began with the #1. NGC can now identify 2014-2017 Silver American Eagles with their Mint location by using the information on their 500-coin packaging boxes, commonly called “monster boxes”.

For all these reasons, this exceptional coin is a perfect gift and one-of-a-kind addition to any precious metals collection.

Coin features:

  • Coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver.
  • Sovereign coin backed by the U.S. government.
  • NGC Mint State 69- fully struck coin with less than two visible imperfections.
  • One of the lowest mintage in American Eagle mintage history- 79,640 pieces only worldwide.
  • Coin was struck at Philadelphia facility.
  • Obverse: Adolph A. Weinman’s design showing Lady Liberty draped in an American flag, walking gracefully as the sun rises over a ridge.
  • Reverse: A heraldic eagle is shown below 13 small stars, representing the original colonies.
  • 100 % authentic  product.
