New for 2015, the Royal Canadian Mint is introducing a credit card sized packaging option for 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf coins that is both compact and secure. Each Gold Male Leaf bullion coin is fully sealed in a transparent high-barrier film, providing it with a tamper- and puncture-proof safeguard against scratching, marring or wear. The credit card-sized format allows for easy handling and storing. The back of the card includes the official Royal Canadian Mint assay certificate signed by the Chief Assayer, certifying the authenticity and the purity of the bullion coin’s content.
