This 2014 W 1/2 oz $10 First Spouse - Lou Hoover Gold Proof Coin is a part of the First Spouse Series, a collection that honors the first ladies of all our historical presidents. This coin shows Lou Hoover, wife of President Herbert Hoover.

The obverse features a bust of Lou Hoover along with the order of the Presidency and the years of her husband's term. In addition, are the inscriptions "LOU HOOVER," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "LIBERTY," and the year of mintage.
