This is the seventh release of the Series II 12-Coin series, spanning the years 2008 - 2019.
The obverse side of the coin features the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions include the coin’s weight, fineness, denomination, and the date of issue.
The reverse side features a horse galloping in a vast grassland, with mountain ranges in the background. A Chinese character for "horse" also appears on the reverse along with the inscription "Year of the Horse" and Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark.
