2012 1 oz Silver Canadian Moose - Wildlife Series

 

The Canadian Wildlife Silver Bullion Coins are a Royal Canadian Mint struck series containing reverse imagery dedicated to the abundant wildlife of Canada. This series features a total of six unique silver bullion coins released by the Mint over a three-year period beginning in 2011. As with other releases in the series, the Moose Silver Bullion Coin is struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. A maximum mintage of 1,000,000 has been put in place.

  • Single coins are packaged in protective coin flips. Multiples of 25 or are packaged in the original mint tube, and multiples of 500 ship in "Monster Boxes". 
  • Obverse: Features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susana Blunt, with "ELIZABETH II", "D.G. REGINA" inscribed near the rim along with the coins denomination and year of mintage. 
  • Reverse: Features the ceremonious moose on a patch of grass, and inscribed near the rim are the words “CANADA” at the top and “9999 FINE SILVER ONE OZ ARGENT PUR.”
