This 2011 W 1/2 oz $10 First Spouse - Eliza Johnson Gold Uncirculated Coin is a part of the First Spouse Series, a collection that honors the first ladies of all our historical presidents. This coin shows Eliza Johnson, wife of President Andrew Johnson.

The obverse of the coin features a bust of Eliza Johnson along with the order of the Presidency and the years of her husband's term. In addition, are the inscriptions "ELIZA JOHNSON," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "LIBERTY," and the year of mintage.

The reverse design represents her love of children, a ball is taking place for her husband's 60th birthday and the design shows three children dancing while a Marine plays in the background. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," along with the denomination, weight, and purity.
