2008 1/2 oz NORFED Liberty Dollar Stop The War Silver Round .999 Fine (Peace Hallmark)
Bullion Exchanges is excited to offer the incredibly rare 2008 1/2 oz NORFED Liberty Dollar Stop The War Silver Round! Manufactured by the Liberty Dollar NORFED organization founded by Bernard Von NotHaus, the round contains .999 fine silver and weighs 1/2 troy oz. NORFED, the "National Organization for the Repeal of the Federal Reserve Act and the Internal Revenue Code", is a private mint that was raided in 2008 by Federal Authorities. These silver rounds were among the last rounds manufactured by NORFED before their products were seized. Not to be confused with legal tender US coins, these NORFED rounds provide a fun collectible opportunity for investors everywhere.
The obverse features the left-facing bust of Lady Liberty. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed on Lady Liberty's coronet, and the word "PEACE" appears above her head. The phrase "TRUST IN GOD" is displayed near the lower right of the round, differing slightly from the phrase "In God We Trust" inscribed on legal US coins. The year of mintage, 2008, is inscribed under Liberty's bust.
The reverse of the NORFED silver round contains a variety of inscriptions, including NORFED's website and phone number. The weight, purity, and denomination are also displayed on the reverse, as well as Liberty's fiery torch. The phrase "STOP THE WAR" is shown near the top of the round.
Bullion Exchanges is proud to provide a variety of silver rounds from around the world, including these 1/2 oz NORFED Silver Rounds. Your order will be packaged securely and shipped to your address. Feel free to reach out to our customer service representatives with any questions.
