The obverse features the renowned Walking Liberty design with the rising sun behind her. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY" and the year of mintage.

The reverse displays the heraldic eagle underneath 13 stars. The eagle clutches arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Inscriptions include the weight and denomination of the coin.
