2002 Australian Gold $50 Nugget and Silver $1 Kookaburra 2-Coin Set w/ Box

This wonderful two-piece set includes the $1 Silver Kookaburra and the $50 Gold Nugget, both from the year 2002 and in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

The Silver Kookaburra weighs one ounce and is struck in .999 pure silver. The obverse side shows the coin's denomination, and Ian Rank-Broadley's design of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA", and "1 DOLLAR" are also present on the obverse, surrounding the Queen's portrait. The reverse side features a kookaburra flying over Australia, designed by Jovan Radanovich. along with the coin's year (2002), weight (1 OZ), fineness (999 SILVER) and the words "AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA".

The Gold Nugget weighs one-half ounce  and is struck in .9999 pure gold . The obverse side shows the coin's denomination and Ian Rank-Broadley's design of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
