The obverse depicts Lady Liberty, striding forward toward the rising sun. Inscriptions include “LIBERTY”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and “2002”.
The reverse features a bald eagle holding a shield, with 13 stars overhead. Inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “1 oz.”, “FINE SILVER”, and “ONE DOLLAR”.
