This 1990 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle BU will make an excellent addition to your collection. This coin is part of the American Gold eagle Series which is backed by the US government as legal tender.

The obverse features Lady Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, the Capitol building in the left background. Inscribed is the year of mintage written in Roman numerals.

The reverse displays a "family of eagles" motif designed by sculptor Miley Busiek, featuring a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings. Inscriptions include the denomination and weight.
