This beautiful 1989 Montenegro 10 Perpera Gold Proof Coin makes a unique addition to any collection. The coin comes made from 90% fine gold with a weight of 0.0974 troy oz.
The obverse features a portrait of Nicholas I of Montenegro, who ruled Montenegro from 1860-1918. Encircling the rim is the inscriptions "НИКОЛА I Б.М. КРАЉ И ГОСПOДАР ЦРНЕ ГОРЕ" (Nicholas I B.M. King and Lord of Montenegro).
The reverse displays the coat of arms, a crowned mantle arms with sprigs. Above the design are the words "КРАЉЕВИНА ЦРНА ГОРА" (Kingdom of Montenegro), the denomination and year of mintage are below.
