1989 1 oz Chinese Silver Panda 10 Yuan Coin NGC MS 68
This beautiful 1989 Silver 10 Yuan Panda Coin is graded by NGC as a MS 68!
This is a great piece for coin or bullion collectors. This was the first year the Silver Panda bullion program began, while prior to 1989 the coins were considered numismatic. Chinese Pandas are one of the world’s few bullion coins to change designs every year.
The 1989 10 Yuan 1 oz. silver B.U. Panda is the first coin in the B.U. series. The grid-like background of the coin created by artist Luo Yonghui is unique to the 1989 year and is also used on the 1989 100 Yuan platinum and 50 Yuan palladium Pandas.
The traditional reverse design depicts the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing encircled by the phrase "People's Republic of China" in Chinese completed with the year of issue. The reverse features a baby panda on a grid background sitting and eating a piece of bamboo above the weight and purity.
Like all of our other silver coins, this one is guaranteed to be 100% authentic. Item will be wrapped and packaged safe for delivery.
