The obverse portrays this effigy of Lady Liberty looking to the left with her impressive crown atop her head. Inscriptions: “LIBERTY”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and the year of mintage.

The reverse features the bald eagle atop a rock with some leaves by its claws in addition to inscriptions. Inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, “ONE DOLLAR”, and “PEACE”.
