1927 $20 Gold St. Gaudens Double Eagle Coin NGC MS 64+
This beautiful 1927 St. Gaudens Double Eagle was graded by NGC as Mint State 64+, a rare and impressive grade.
The obverse design shows a standing Lady Liberty in front of the sun's rays, with a torch in her right hand and olive branch in her left, as well as the US Capitol building in the bottom left-hand corner. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed at the top and the year of mintage is on the right of the coin.
The reverse features a majestic eagle flying with rays in the background, with the inscriptions "UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA" and "TWENTY DOLLARS" above, as well as the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" at the bottom of the coin.
