Popular among collectors of classic American silver coinage, the 1922-1935 Peace Silver Dollar $1 ICG MS 63 (Random Year) combines historic significance, strong silver content, and attractive mint state preservation. Struck by the United States Mint from 90% silver, each coin contains approximately 0.7734 troy oz of pure silver and is certified by ICG in Mint State 63 condition. Random-year examples are selected from coins minted between 1922 and 1935, offering collectors a chance to own a beautifully preserved piece from one of the most iconic silver dollar series in U.S. history.
Introduced in 1921, the Peace Dollar was created to symbolize peace following the end of World War I and became the successor to the Morgan Silver Dollar series. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the coin features a youthful portrait of Lady Liberty crowned with radiant light on the obverse, while the reverse depicts a bald eagle perched peacefully beside the word “PEACE.” The design reflected America’s optimism and desire for stability during the postwar era. Peace Dollars were produced until 1935 and later became highly collectible due to their historical importance, silver content, and status as the last regular-issue circulating silver dollars of their time.
