This beautiful 1907 Liberty Head Gold Quarter Eagle Coin is graded by NGC as Uncirculated Details.
These $2.5 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagles were minted between 1840-1907, making this the last year the coin was produced. It was designed by Christian Gobrecht, and contains .1209 troy ounces of 90% fine gold.
The obverse side of coin, inspired by Benjamin West's painting of Venus in Omnia Vincit Amor, contains Lady Liberty facing to the left, wearing a coronet with the word "LIBERTY" inscribed on it. 13 stars encircle her, with the date of the coin (1907) positioned below her profile.
The reverse side features a bald eagle with its wings outstretched, a majestic image and one of the msot popular designs to ever grace a US coin.
