1907 $10 Gold Liberty Head Eagle Coin NGC UNC Details
The $10 Liberty Gold Eagles with the motto above the eagle were minted between 1866-1907. The coin was designed by Christian Gobrecht, Chief Engraver of the US Mint from 1840 to 1844, weighs .4838 troy ounces, and is struck in 90% fine gold.
The obverse side of the coin, inspired by Benjamin West's painting of Venus in Omnia Vincit Amor, contains Lady Liberty 13 stars encircle her, with the date of the coin (1907) positioned below her profile.
The reverse side features a bald eagle, wings outstretched with a shield across its chest, carrying an olive branch and a bundle of arrows in each of its talons. This is still considered one of the most fascinating eagles ever to grace any U.S. coin.
Like all of our other gold coins, this one is guaranteed to be 100% authentic. Item will be wrapped and packaged safely for delivery.
