This 1900 S $5 Liberty Head Half Eagle Gold Coin NGC MS 62+ is a great coin from the US Mint. The coin was produced from their San Francisco facility making it a tough find in today's market.

The obverse features Lady Liberty facing to the left, showing off a loose hairstyle. Encircling the rim are thirteen stars along with the inscriptions "LIBERTY" and the year of mintage.

The reverse side displays a bald eagle wearing a shield on its chest, wings spread open for flight. In its talons are an olive branch and a bundle of arrows. Encircling the rim is "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination is inscribed below. In addition is the "S" mint mark below the eagle.
