We're happy to offer this 1897 S $20 Liberty Head Gold Double Eagle Coin NGC MS 62 here at Bullion Exchanges. The coin is a part of the Pre-1933 US gold series, making it a rare find anywhere and a must have piece.
The obverse features a left sided bust of Lady Liberty, her hair loose and wearing a tiara. Encircling the rim are 13 stars along with the year of mintage.
The reverse side shows the American bald eagle with a patriotic shield on its chest, wings spread open for flight. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the denomination.
