The obverse depicts the portrait of Queen Victoria wearing her imperial crown and facing left, a long veil falls behind the head, surrounded by the inscription, "VICTORIA D:G: BRITT: REG: F:D:". The reverse features St. George on horseback holding a short sword in his right hand, the horse rearing to right over a fallen dragon which has a broken lance in its chest.
