Morgan Dollars were primarily minted from 1878 through 1904. Each Morgan Silver Dollar contains .7734 troy ounces per coin. The coins were designed by British engraver George T. Morgan and were named after him. The obverse of the coin depicts a school teacher named Anna Willess Williams, as she poses as Lady Liberty for the new design of the coins. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle.
