This 1879 $10 Gold Liberty Head Eagle Coin NGC AU 58 is a great addition to any coin collection. This coin comes graded by NGC as AU 58 and is made from 90% fine gold.
The obverse features a left sided bust of Lady Liberty, her hair loose and wearing a tiara. Encircling the rim are 13 stars along with the year of mintage.
The reverse side shows the American bald eagle with a patriotic shield on its chest, wings spread open for flight. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the denomination.
