This 12 oz Gold Salvador Dali 12 Tribes of Israel Medal Set is a unique addition to any gold collection. Featuring designs from Salvador Dali, this set of 12 medals honors the 12 tribes of Israel and is made from 12 ounces of 0.75 gold in total. Individually, each medal is 18K gold 750 and weighs 41.46 grams. The set also includes its own elegant display box.

In the Hebrew Bible, each of the 12 tribes of Israel is descended from one of the 12 sons of the patriarch Jacob, who himself was later renamed Israel after he managed to wrestle an angel throughout a whole night until daybreak.

The obverse of each medal features Salvador Dali's "Hora Around the Menorah" design. Salvador Dali was a famous surrealist painter born in Catalonia who later famously joined the larger surrealist group located in Paris in 1929. He is well known for his masterpiece painting of melting clocks as well as his many works featuring the rhinoceros. In 1980, towards the end of his life, he sculpted the menorah design used on these coins.

The reverse of each medal displays a colored lithograph, with a unique design for each tribe. These include a ship sailing through lava, a tented village in the desert, an elder with a cane looking over a bountiful field, and more imagery pulling from Jewish history.
