Certified MS 62 with CAC recognition, this coin combines substantial gold content, collectible appeal, and professionally evaluated Mint State condition. The year and mint mark will be selected according to available inventory.

The $10 Liberty Head Gold Eagle was introduced in 1838, replacing the earlier Capped Bust design. Created by Christian Gobrecht, the U.S. Mint's third Chief Engraver, the Liberty Head Eagle became one of America's longest-running gold coin designs, remaining in production until 1907.Throughout the 19th century, these coins played an important role in American commerce, banking, and international trade. Their production spanned major historical events, including the California Gold Rush, the Civil War, westward expansion, and the nation's industrial development.

In 1907, the Liberty Head design was replaced by Augustus Saint-Gaudens' Indian Head Eagle as part of President Theodore Roosevelt's effort to improve the artistry of American coinage. Today, surviving Liberty Head Eagles remain popular among collectors for their historic significance, classic appearance, and precious metal content.
