Chinese 1/2 oz Gold Panda Proof/Unc (Random Year, Not Sealed)

Please note both sides of the design may vary. Also, the Gold Panda may not feature a denomination.

The People's Bank of China minted the first Chinese Gold Panda in 1982, which was struck from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine gold. This gold panda was also available in fractional sizes of 1/2 oz., 1/4 oz., and 1/10 oz. The bank introduced the 1/20 oz. size in 1983 and also issued coins with bigger sizes, such as the 5 oz. and 12 oz. Each year, the reverse image of the coin is changed to a new depiction of the beloved panda bear, except for the coins issued in 2001 and 2002 which carry the same design. China Gold Panda series has proved to be a great investment as well as it is a great collectible addition.
