• The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed in 2003 by Susanna Blunt, with the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II”, “2015”, “5 DOLLARS", and “D.G. REGINA” (Latin for “By the Grace of God, Queen”).
• Backed by the Canadian government
