This beautifully detailed coin marks the final edition of the Queen Elizabeth II’s Reign collection released by the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM). This coin pays a tribute to The Imperial State Crown, one of the most well-known pieces of the Crown Jewels. Her Late Majesty wore this iconic crown while leaving Westminster Abbey after her coronation in 1953 and on many formal occasions throughout her years of service. A symbol of her authority and grace, the essence of the Imperial State Crown comes to life on this unique silver coin.

The special obverse tribute design combines all four of Her Late Majesty’s effigies that have been used on Canadian coins since her coronation as well as a small Tudor rose.

The reverse elegantly displays Queen Elizabeth II’s Royal Cypher surrounded by four crystals. Additionally, sixteen glass stones (eight blue and eight green) line the decorative outer circle design.
