African Lions are fairly social and live together in prides, meaning groups, of about fifteen lions. This coin also features Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, which comes to life in color, engraved within the lion's body.

The obverse features the Mongol Bank logo with surrounding inscriptions.

The reverse showcases a fierce African lion in its natural habitat with birds flying overhead. The mammal’s body is colorized, as is Mount Kilimanjaro which is engraved on the lion’s torso as if the animal was transparent.
