2022 1 oz Silver Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red Guitar Shaped Coin Solomon Islands .9999 Fine (w/Box)

It’s time to rock the red! Bullion Exchanges now offers the new 2022 1 oz Silver Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red Guitar Shaped Coin. These Guitar-shaped Fender Coins each weigh 1 troy ounce and contain .9999 fine silver. Beautifully colorized and engraved with a glossy finish, this Stratocaster® coin bears a face value of $2 USD but is worth far more as a collectible, as it is the first-ever officially licensed Fender® Fiesta Red® shaped legal tender coin made! Each reverse-proof Solomon Islands guitar coin arrives inside a themed outer box and is housed inside a protective plastic custom capsule. Hurry though, only 6,000 of these limited mintage 1 oz Fender Fiesta Guitar Coins have been produced. So buy yours before they sell out, or you’ll be “seeing red”!

The 2021 Silver Fender Guitar Pick Coin was released to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Fender® Company. Unsurprisingly, the guitar pick coin proved to be incredibly popular among collectors and sold out quickly. To continue the 75th Anniversary celebration, PAMP Suisse subsequently released a two-coin Fender-themed set. Now, PAMP proudly promotes the Fiesta Red Stratocaster! First produced in 1954, the Stratocaster (also known as the “Strat”) is still being made today. Its popularity was mainly due to its innovative features for that time period, including its appearance consisting of a double cutaway, elongated horns, and a heavily contoured back. Combined with a three-pickup design and a simplified vibrato arm integrated into the bridge plate, these elements excited musicians worldwide and later became standard throughout the industry. The release of the “Fiesta Red” Stratocaster in 1957 by George Fullerton marked the introduction of custom colors into Fender’s arsenal.

The obverse of the coin features the bust of Queen Elizabeth II on the guitar’s body facing towards the neck, where the Queen’s name, country of Issue, and denomination are inscribed. The year of issue and serial number also appears on the body as well.

The reverse has been beautifully colorized to replicate the original 1957 Stratocaster in “Fiesta Red”. The Fender® logo is inscribed on the guitar’s head. The weight and purity appear on the pickguard.
