On April 19, 2018, a large asteroid shattered in the earth’s atmosphere, causing rocks from outer space to crash into Oyo, a Nigerian state in Africa. The impact caused deep cracks and craters in the dry soil. The meteorite was named Aba Panu, after the nearby village.
