The obverse presents an enhanced version of the beloved “Walking Liberty '' design by Adolph A Weinman. Using modern design technology, the updated obverse provides a closer reflection of Weinman’s original vision. The enhanced design also includes Weinman’s traditional artist mark. Lady Liberty, draped in the billowing American Flag, strides forward towards the sunrise. She gently cradles branches of olive and oak in her left arm while reaching her right arm straight ahead towards the horizon.

The reverse displays the new design by Emily Damstra. A Bald Eagle flies downward, preparing to land with outstretched wings. The eagle clutches an oak branch in its talons.
