Mere moments before the dragon ate the brave princess, Saint George arrived to save the day, defeating the ferocious beast and saving the entire city.
The obverse of this coin displays the famous effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. Inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II”, “D.G. REG F.D.” and the denomination.
The reverse showcases the active scene of Saint George fighting the dragon while on horseback. This design was the result of a collaboration between artists Emma Noble and Etienne Millner. Inscriptions: “2021”, as well as the weight and purity of the coin.
