This 2021 1 Oz Gold American Eagle Type 2 NGC MS 69 Mint Error (Rev Struck Thru) is a great addition to any collection! This Gold American Eagle was graded a near-perfect MS 69 by NGC and shows off a unique mint error. A "Reverse Struck-Thru" mint error means there was a foreign object or substance on either the die or the planchet (coin blank) when the coin was struck, leaving an imprint on the reverse. 

The obverse features a modified design of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' Lady Liberty as she walks forward with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The Capitol building lies behind her in the background. Inscriptions: “LIBERTY” and “2021”.

The reverse displays the left profile of a bald eagle. Inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, “50 DOLLARS”, “1 OZ”, and “FINE GOLD”.
