It comes with a special edition, first-ever Jefferson nickel, struck at the West Point Mint with the “W” mintmark. This Jefferson nickel is graded a near-perfect PF 69 by PCGS. The label features the First Strike designation, stating that this coin was received for grading within the first 30 days of its release. The 2020 edition proof set is packaged in two clear cases with a box that shows off the Washington Monument in the twilight. The first case houses the eleventh annual release of five quarters from America the Beautiful Program, and the second case has five common denomination coins.

The 2020-W Jefferson Nickel has a proof finish and a “W" mint mark. A sharp relief and mirror-like background with frosted foreground give this coin a special cameo effect. It is packaged separately and comes graded by PCGS as PF 69 First Strike. The obverse of the coin displays the portrait of Thomas Jefferson with inscriptions “IN GOD WE TRUST”, “Liberty”, “2020”, and the “W” mint mark from West Point. The reverse shows the picture of Jefferson's home Monticello. Inscriptions include “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, “MONTICELLO”, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, as well as the denomination.
