The obverse features a stunning image of the Coat of Arms of Mexico with a golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus holding a snake in its beak and one talon. The image is inside a circular design, half of which is made of olive and oak wreath, and the other half is made of the words “Estados Unidos Mexicanos.”

The reverse depicts a magnificent image of Winged Victory which honors the real statue which is a massive awe-inspiring statue in downtown Mexico. The soaring Goddess of Victory holds a laurel wreath in her right outstretched arm signifying victory and in the left-hand holds the broken chain depicting freedom. The image on the reverse is centered around a beautiful backdrop of Mexican landscape featuring the two most popular volcanoes of Mexico the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.
