2019 1 oz Gold American Buffalo PCGS MS 69 First Strike

This 2019 1 oz Gold American Buffalo $50 Coin is the latest release in the Gold American Buffalo series. First introduced in 2006, this series was instantly a huge success, providing competition for other gold coins on the market. This program honors the rich and diverse heritage of the United States along with paying homage to its long history.

This coin is graded by PCGS with a grade of MS 69 - which certifies it as near perfect. It is guaranteed by PCGS that it has been graded within the first 30 days of its issue which gives it the First Strike designation.

The coin features an iconic portrait of a Native American on its obverse. On the reverse, there is an image of the popular bison, Black Diamond. Both images were originally designed by James Earle Fraser for the Indian Head Nickel of 1913-1938. Their design has been slightly modified from their original form. The image of Native American was created by integrating the facial features of three popular Native Americans: Big Tree, Iron Tail, and Two Moons. The coin’s reverse depicts Black Diamond was a popular American Bison in the early 1900s.
