Minted at North America’s oldest mint, Casa de Moneda de México, it makes a highly exceptional coin. Libertads are popular in the numismatic world for their beautiful design and the purity of the silver content in them. The obverse features a stunning image of the Coat of Arms of Mexico with a golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus holding a snake in its beak and one talon. The image is inside a circular design, half of which is made of olive and oak wreath and the other half is made of the words “Estados Unidos Mexicanos.”
The reverse depicts a magnificent image of Winged Victory which honors the real statue which is a massive awe-inspiring statue in downtown Mexico. The soaring Goddess of Victory holds a laurel wreath in her right outstretched arm signifying victory and in the left-hand holds the broken chain depicting freedom. The image on the reverse is centered around a beautiful backdrop of Mexican landscape featuring the two most popular volcanoes of Mexico the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.

- Reverse: Displays Angel de Libertad holding a laurel crown and broken chains in her hands depicting victory and freedom on a backdrop of a lovely Mexican landscape. Containing the two famous Mexican Volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl. Engravings include the weight, purity, metal content, and year of mintage.
