The Zi:Sin Series is an exciting new collection from the KOMSCO Mint that will show the 12 guardians assigned to protect 12 directions. The Guardians protect the world from evil forces in 12 directions at all times. During god's absence, ZI:SIN commanders are called upon to lead God's army. Following the release of the Gallus coin in 2017, the mint now introduces the ZI:SIN Guardian, Canis. Canis is a loyal and reliable guider who faithfully protects god and is always on alert. When God is about to battle evil forces, Canis would always stand in the front line of the 12 troops and lead God's army as a spearhead.
The obverse features the shield of Chiwoo Cheonwang above the KOMSCO mint logo. Surrounding that, the inscriptions “2018 FINE SILVER 999”, “REPUBLIC OF KOREA”, and “1 CLAY” all appear circled around the shield of Chiwoo Cheonwang. The reverse shows the depiction of the guardian Canis dressed and ready for battle. Below Canis, the inscription “ZI:SIN CANIS” can also be seen.
