The obverse features a grand design of the Great Organ in the Vienna Musikverein Golden Hall, where the Viennese Philharmonic Orchestra performs. The reverse depicts the array of instruments, including the cello, violin, harp, Vienna horn, and bassoon. Between 1989 and 2001, Philharmonic collection had a face value in Austrian Schillings. However, since 2002, the coins have been issued with a face value in Euro.
