This 2017 S Proof Silver Kennedy Half Dollar was originally part of a 2017 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set from the U.S. Mint. A limited mintage of 50,000  and iconic design making this coin a great addition to any collection. This half dollar is 90% silver and was struck at the San Francisco branch of the  U.S. Mint.

The coin’s obverse features a portrait of President John F. Kennedy designed by Gilroy Roberts. The "S" Mint mark is just below Kennedy along with the date.The reverse design shows a heraldic bald eagle with arrows and an olive branch, created by Frank Gasparro.

This coin was also graded within 30 days of its issue date by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. No imperfections were found when it was examined, that's why the coin received the grade of Proof 70.
