The obverse features a right profile image of Lady Liberty as an African-American woman, distinctive from previous classic designs. She is portrayed as wearing a crown of stars, framed by the inscriptions "LIBERTY," "1792," "2017," and "IN GOD WE TRUST.” 

The reverse displays the powerful bald eagle in flight. Engravings include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and the “P” mintmark."
