This fantastic 2017 100 gram Silver Samoa US Capitol $10 Coin is the third issue in the four-layer minting series from Samoa. Honoring the United States Capitol this ultra-high-relief 100-gram coin is struck from .999 fine silver with the latest “four layer minting technology”. This new standard production process in minting technology provides the 3D effect, achieved by multiple layers of high/low relief that goes up to 5 mm deep and shows each tiny detail of the United States Capitol Building.

The coin has unique 55 mm diameter, allowing to present the US Capitol more proportional and exact.

In addition to the special minting technique, this silver coin features an Antique Finish and packaged in a luxury mint box with a serialized certificate of authenticity.

The coin reverse presents the scene a visitor of the Capitol would see of the ceiling, upon looking up. Architectural details are fully displayed in the magnificent coin artwork. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the same as Ian Rank-Broadley version.

The original building was built in 1800 and later was expanded, particularly with the addition of the massive dome.
