The obverse side depicts the Temple of Heaven in China, encircled by the inscriptions “People’s Republic of China” in Chinese characters, and the coins year of manufacture “2016”. Each of these lavish coins is backed by the Chinese government and has been issued a face value of ¥50 Yuan.
