First issued in 1988 by the Royal Canadian Mint, the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins are an extremely popular commodity. These coins are issued annually by the Government of Canada. The coin is made from 1 Troy ounce of 99.99% pure silver. Although these coins are minted every year in millions, a special edition called Canadian Maple Leaf Privy editions are released on special occasions to honor items of Canadian cultural significance, historical events, and nature related-themes. The beautiful black core of the retro holder serves as a striking background for the elegant sheen of the silver and gold coins. The retro holder for the Canadian Maple Leaf Panda Privy Coin has a red and white label on the front with an image of panda, year of mintage, grade, and a unique serial number. An attractive blue and silver label occupies the top of the back of the retro holder which contains the name NGC and its signature logo.
