The Year of the Goat (or Sheep or Ram) is the eighth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. People born under this sign are elegant, charming, artistic, gifted and fond of nature. The reverse side of the coin features an adult male goat standing on a ridge in a stylized mountain scene.
